COVID 19 UPDATE : My office remains OPEN during this challenging time, and we are following all protocols and guidelines for Coronovirus protection and disinfection as recommended by the CDC. Office visits, Telehealth video sessions, and telephone sessions are now available for my existing patients, however please be aware that telehealth and telephone sessions will be subject to approval by your insurance provider or private-pay arrangement. Please be sure to check with your health insurance prior to requesting telehealth or telephone sessions, as not all plans will cover these services and you may be responsible for the cost of these sessions if your plan does not cover them. These policies are changing from month to month so it is important to stay informed about your own coverage. Existing patients may choose to schedule Telehealth, telephone sessions, or office visits provided that you read and adhere to the following document prior to your office appointments and that you have signed a telehealth privacy form in your patient portal. With the increasing uncertainty and growing number of infected individuals around the world, we encourage you to take responsibility for yourself and your family.
If you've recently been in any airport, please wait 14 days before coming in for an appointment.
If you or someone close to you has recently traveled outside of the United States, we insist you postpone booking an appointment for at least 14 days. If this applies to you, please inform me via email, and I'll put you on a dedicated wait-list for an appointment.
If you're exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, cold, sinus infection or flu, or live with / spend daily time with someone who is, I urge you to stay home, take care of yourself, and seek medical help when appropriate.
If you work in an environment where you are at high risk of exposure, please reach out to discuss this with me prior to coming in to the office.
I encourage you to schedule a secure video appointment with me. Research shows that they can often be just as effective as in-person appointments, and we can continue your care without interruption. If you're interested, let me know and I'll make the necessary arrangements. Video appointments are easy to do, and HIPAA compliant and secure. This service is currently covered by many insurance plans. Please refer to the CDC’s dedicated 2019-ncov website for additional information, and maintain awareness by checking the official communications from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization. Kathleen accepts most major insurances and is currently accepting new patients. The average wait time for new appointments is one to three weeks. Insurance providers currently accepted: Independent Health, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Empire, Aetna, UHC, Health Republic, Fidelus, Univera, Tricare, Value Options, Magnacare, Medicaid (HMO plans only), and several others. If you don't see your plan, please email or call as new plans are added frequently.

The office is located in the building just off the rear parking lot for the Tin Pan Alley Restaurant. Parking and Location: The entrance to the office waiting room is to the rear of my building: Turn off of Cayuga Street onto South 8th Street, quickly turn into the large parking lot on the right hand side. Once you are in the parking lot, Building 765 is straight ahead, my office is the last door in the last building on your left side -- you may park anywhere in the parking lot on the front side of the building, or you can also park around the back side of the building, closer to the office entrance. If you park in the front, you will see my sign in the big window -- please do not use that front door -- please follow the sidewalks on either the left or right side of the building around to the back and enter through the door for Suite 4 --you will see Kathleen's sign on the door. Enter here, and the office door is immediately on your left side, also with Kathleen's name on it. If you decide to park in the back, just turn left when you enter the parking lot, heading towards Favorite's Pizza, make a right at Favorite's and park in the spaces towards the grass courtyard in front of you. Building # 765 will be on your right side if you park around back -- just walk down the sidewalk adjacent to the building until you come to the last door, for Suite 4 . The office is handicapped-accessible.
